EPOCH ("we", "our", or "the App") is an augmented reality audio guide that lets you explore the history of buildings and landmarks around you. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Account Information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name. You may also sign in with Apple, in which case we receive only the information Apple provides (which may be a relay email).
Camera. The App uses your device camera to recognize buildings and landmarks. Photos taken for recognition are sent to our servers for processing and are not stored after analysis is complete, unless you explicitly choose to save or share a photo.
Location. With your permission, we access your device's GPS coordinates to find landmarks near you and to improve recognition accuracy. We do not continuously track your location in the background.
Usage Data. We collect anonymous analytics such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the App.
User-Generated Content. If you leave comments or upload photos, that content is stored on our servers and visible to other users.

EPOCH offers optional paid subscriptions (Explorer tier) processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment information. Billing is managed by Apple according to their terms.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, and we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
